Am I Eligible?
Our service is available to:
- Community Service Card holders,
- Māori or Pasifika individuals,
- Men who have sex with men,
- LQBTQIA+ individuals,
- Sex workers,
- Injecting drug users or those involved in chemsex,
- Individuals with syphilis, HIV, MPOX or Mycoplasma Genitalium, and their sexual contacts,
- Pregnant women who have an STI or symptoms of an STI,
- International student/working holiday visa holders who have STI-related symptoms and meet the above eligibility critieria. Please note, restrictions may apply – please contact the clinic. You will need to show your passport and visa.
We also accept specialist referrals from GPs, nurse practitioners, nurses, and midwives for anyone, including those who don’t meet the criteria above. We also provide treatment for those who test positive using an online STI testing service.
Additional Support:
- Students: seek assistance by contacting Student Health Services first.
- For non-students under 25: Youth Clinics such as VIBE, EVOLVE, KYS, and the 502 Porirua Youth Support may offer free services for Wellington NZ residents only.
- For anyone over 25 who does not meet our self-referral criteria: Contact your GP, Family Planning/Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa (previously family planning) services, or explore out-of-hours or online care options.
- Wellington Accident and Urgent Medical Centre: 8am – 9pm walk in service (costs incur for this service)
